Then we have Carson

Who will eat just about anything. He will shovel food into his mouth like no tomorrow. Fruits, veggies, meats, you name it he loves it!

Here he is getting ready to pack his cheeks with bananna for the winter. Seriously, he can store tons of food in those cheeks.

caught in the action

So i was cooking dinner tonight and had the door open from the kitchen to the garage. Cole was playing around in there and everytime i walked in there it looked like he was up to something - see picture below
I guess he didn't want to hurt my feelings...apparently he likes dog food more than he likes my cooking! Yep, my pickey eater who is the biggest pain in the butt to get him to eat anything somewhat healthy has no problem chowing down on dog food. Are you kidding me?! I snuck in there and saw him munching on something. Notice the little pile he built up behind him.

Food, Fun and Friends

Yesterday afternoon we had a potluck at the neighbors house. My girlfriend lives right across from the park so we parked it in her driveway. Cole had so much fun playing with the neighborhood kids and eating grean cake. He was sad to go home when it was time for bed. Chad and I are so fortunate to have such great friends in our neighborhood.

Below is Ms. Laya in her party dress. When she found out we were having a party, she had to have her party dress on!!

Cole playing with some of the neighbors!Cole & Layla trying to figure out how to make the car go. Which they did!!!! I about freaked out and ran right over to turn it off.Carson had fun too and the older girls love to hold him.

Meet the Animals!

What a fun day at the zoo we had today! One of my friends from Tuesday playgroup won a 'meet the animals' party at the zoo so she invited the playgroup. We decided to go early and make use of our trip to the zoo. We met up with Gigi and her family and toured the zoo with them. Cole felt the need to swoon Gigi during this time. He would run just to keep up with her and went wherever she went. He even cleared the path for her. While walking next to Gigi Cole saw a pine cone in our path. He said Uh Oh, ran up ahead to pick up the pine cone and threw it to the side just to get out of gigi's way. How cute is that?!?! He is so amazing and he is only 2. He is going to be a true gentlemen.
Cole and Gigi in the petting zoo. After the petting zoo we met up with the group in the school house. The kids got to see, touch and learn about a millipede, cockroach, toad, turtle and a rabbit. Everyone had a great time and we are so thankful that we were included in this fun day.

Happy Valentines Day!

What a wonderful Valentines Day the Perham Gang has had.

First, we started the day off with heart shaped pancakes. You know your gonna have a great day when it starts with pancakes! Then, we rushed off to Cole's last day of his 8am soccer class where he received his very first medal!! He loves his medal so much that he was worn it all day and will probably wear it for the week to come.

After Carson's morning nap we delivered our Valentine's to the neighbors. We made heart shaped crayons for all of friends and the valentine said 'you color my world'. Thanks to familyfun.com for that great idea! Then there was a knock at the door with a gentleman holding a bouquet of flowers!! Hooray Mommy got flowers!

The best part of our day and our new Valentine family tradition...BOWLING! We took the kids to the new brunswick zone. Aparently everyone else had the same idea as their was a 45 minute wait. While we waited we played in the arcade and watched Cole shoot baskets, play air hockey for the first time and, play his all time favorite game ski ball! While there we ran into our friends from Tuesday playgroup!! They ended up requesting the lane right next to ours. The kids had so much fun and we enjoyed the evening with our friends! Hope everyone's day was as much fun as ours.

Doing the dishes

Cole goes nuts everytime I turn on the sink. As soon as I turn on the water he runs to get a chair then pulls it up. He is just fascinated by the water I suppose. Can't wait until he is able to acutally do the dishes!!

Pizza Party at the Park

The kids and I had a pizza party at the park tonight with a couple of the neighbors. The kids had fun riding around on their bikes, eating pizza and demolishing the cup cakes from last nights party. We love that we have gotten to know our neighbors and that the kids play so well together.

I have to tell one quick story - we were at the park last week with my neighbor/friend and she brought out all her bubble supplies for the kids. Cole was trying to blow bubbles with all the fun wands and must of taken in some bubble juice because when he tried to talk...he blew a bubble!!!!

Cole is eating carrots - it's a miracle!!!

Super Bowl 43

Chad and I hosted our 6th Annual Super Bowl Bash last night. The best part about this years party is that our favorite team was in it!! The Cardinals didn't win but it was one heck of a game or shall i say 4th quarter. The kids had fun bouncing and eating and we had fun watching the game and enjoying frosty beverages. Looking forward to hosting our 7th annual party! Go Cards!
