Fun in Cali

Last weekend the Perham Gang headed to California for a much needed vacation. Destination - Carlsbad! WEe left Thursday afternoon and arrived late Thursday night. The boys did wonderful during the 6 hour car ride. We arrived at our hotel and instantly fell in love. First, Carlsbad is the cutest little village, second the beach was a hop skip and jump away and third, our 1 bedroom condo rocked. We had a bedroom, living room and a kitchen. The kitchen had a fridge, stove, oven and all the other bells and whistles. Here is are some pics of the inside and the view from our patio:

Friday morning we headed to Legoland. The boys had so much fun riding all the rides with Daddy. When you are pregnant there is not much you are allowed to do so i was slightly jealous of all of the fun Dad got to have but knew he needed this time with them.

Saturday was beach day and my birthday day!! My brother bed and his two girls came to play with us for the day. Later we headed out for pizza and went back to the hotel where Chad surprised with me an Ice Cream cake. Yummy!

Our last day in California might of been the best day. We drove idown to San Diego and took the boys to the USS Midway Navy ship museum. Chad wanted to take the boys so I just agreeded. I had no idea how much fun we would have. Most of fun came from Carson. Currently, Carson LOVES, LOVES, LOVES airplanes so he was in heaven the minute we walked in and he saw one. The rest of the time consisted of him screaming with exciment at all the airplanes. Look Mama, Look Mama, Look at this one Mama. It made our day!!

daddy date to tucson

Last weekend Chad took Cole on a father son date to Tucson. Chad took Cole to Wildcat country for the Spring Football game. They headed out after his morning soccer game, had lunch, played some pinball then headed to the stadium. They watched the entire game then headed down to the field after the game to play some tackle football with eachother. Cold had so much fun! He wore his new wildcat baseball hat for days and wants to play football non-stop. Way to go daddy!!

Let's go D-Backs!!

Chad has always wanted to go to an opening day baseball game. So this year we did it! Chad took the day off of work and the Perham Gang headed to the ball park. We enjoyed lunch at Alice Cooperstown, checked out all the game day festivities, then made our way to our seats. The boys did amazing and Chad and I were thrilled with how much they enjoyed the game. The only bummer about the whole day was Mommy didn't pack any sunscreen. It never crossed my mind that the roof would be open and our seats were right where the the sun was shining. After about an hour and my kids starting to turn pink I went to first aid. They were kind enough to sneak me some sunscreen. After some icecream, peanuts ande 6 innings we headed home and Chad finally got to go to his opening day game!!

Easter Weekend

What a fun filled Easter weekend the Perham Gang had. It started Saturday morning with Coles soccer game. Cole scored his second goal and was super excited. He even did a goal dance! Go Cole!! Right after soccer we headed over to the neighborhood easter egg hunt. Earlier during the week I had volunteered to help stuff the eggs - 500 eggs! I got there early to help put the eggs out and it looked as if it had rained skittles. All the kids were super excited to hunt the eggs.

After our first hunt, we headed home to color eggs. Wow, what a mess that is with 2 little boys. BUT - they had fun and that's all that matters. There hands were blue for a couple days but they have now returned back to normal.

After naps we headed over to Grandma Lindas and Grandpa Don's for pizza with the family and another easter egg hunt with all the counsis. Yet again, the kids had so much fun. Cole loves to play with all his cousins and I think Grace may be his favorite. He loves Gracie so much and is always super excited when he sees her. Grace and Christopher also have a bike ramp and Cole has officially become a pro-bmx-er on his bike. Looks like we may be investing in a ramp in our near future. Below are pictures of the fun!

Disney on Ice

Last friday I took the boys to Disney on Ice and Grandma Linda joined us as well. We had so much fun watching mickey and the crew on ice. Carson would get so excited during the show that he would let out a little scream and start clapping. Grandma Linda treated both the boys to a snow cone which the LOVED!

Mexico Fun

A couple weekends ago the Perham Gang along with Tia, Matt and Ava, went on a mini vacay to mexico. The kids had so much fun playing in the ocean, in the sand and wherever else they could play. Cole's favorite game was racing into the ocean with Mommy then racing back out. Carson's favorite thing to do was build sand castles with Daddy. Here are some pictures of our trip.
