Soccer stud

Last week was return of the hornets! Some of you may recall that Cole started soccer last spring and he was on a team named the hornets. Well this year, we have all returned and ust so happen to be the hornets again!! Every one on the team got along great and so did the kids so we requested to all be on the same team again. Who da thunk we would get the same color!

The start of this season is completely different than last year. Cole would cry on the side lines and freak at the thought of having to go in the game. It took hi
m about 3 games to warm up and get used to the idea of being out on the field and in the spotlight! Well this year he is a seasoned pro. He got right out there and did his thing! Way to go Cole!

pants

Well looks like the no pants phased has passed. Some of you may have noticed that in most of my posts Cole had no bottoms on. Just a shirt and undies was all he needed. Well, that phase has passed (just like the I only want to wear a jersey phase) and he dresses himself every morning with a pair of shorts and a shirt. I guess it's a good thing but it's more one thing telling me that he is growing up. Cheers to pants!

Coles soccer practice

Return of the hornets!!

Last soccer season everyone on the team got along that we all decided to sign up to be on the same team for this season. Well, now we are in the bigger league and have a weekly practice Tonight was our fist practice

Here are the boys lining up to get there uniform:

Not only do the kids get uniforms, but this year they all got a soccer ball.

Now comes the sad part...

See that kid on the end with the yellow shirt? Well, Carson went and stood next to him like all the other big kids waiting for their stuff. All the kids got their uniform then there soccer balls. Carson stood there just like all the other big boys waiting... he then turned, looked at me and said 'what bout me?' that about broke my heart and all the other moms there.

It's a darn good thing there was a playground near by. I asked the moms to watch Cole and told Carson that we get to go and play!!

I love having the boys so close together (18 months) but at times like this it is hard. Carson doesn't understand why he can't play, why he doesn't get a soccer ball, etc. The good thing is he won't remember these moments forever. We can't wait for next fall when Carson get's to play soccer.

Dentist

Both the boys had a dentist appointment the other day. I decided to have the boys go back to back thinking it would make it easier...and by golly it did. I sat in the lobby with Caylee and Cole and Carson headed back with Melanie the hygienist. Every now and then I would go and check on them and Cole would immediately tell me to go back to the lobby.

Cole telling me to go back as I snapped pics on my phone

Eventually Melanie came out to tell me that Carson wouldn't open his mouth. I then convinced Cole to go first so he could show Carsey what was going to happen - (I also promised him bowling) - and he looked like a season professional -

Seriously, could he look any more chill???

Maybe they gave him laughing gas??? No,
that's just the 'tooth tickler" aka the tooth cleaner.

Um...can I have what my brother had because this doesn't seem fun.

All in all the boys did great and can't wait to head back in 6 months. Want to know something funny? I only promised bowling because I knew we were going bowling that weekend for Tanners birthday party (pictures to come soon of that). I won't be able to get away with that for long.

more yard work

I was loving my new camera so much that I couldn't wait to take more pictures. So here are some of the boys doing what they do best...helping daddy!!

new camera

I finally got my new camera!! It's a Canon Rebel and i LOVE it. I have been wanting a new camera for ever. I love taking pictures and find it as a fun hobby. Growing up my dad did photography and we had a dark room in our house where we developed black and white pictures. It was a blast. now we are in the digital world and the cameras aren't fast enough for me. I never am able to capture the moment due to shutter delay. The new camera rocks, it takes the pictures instantly. It's a bit larger then my old one, but i love it.

Below is a pic of Caylee's favorite thing to do...SWING!!

Caylee sporting the cutest biking eva!! We went swimming at Uncle Gary's and Aunt Leesha's and I couldn't wait to put this on her!!!

It'a Bumbo Time

I am in love with the Bumbo chair. I used the chair with each of the boys and started all the kids in the chair about 8 weeks. It's a great way to strengthen their neck muscles. Caylee can only handle it for a couple of minutes at a time. But once they are strong enough to handle it for longer periods, it's the coolest thing ever. you will see more pictures of it in use over time...i am sureof that!
