Cole turns 4

Holy smokes my little guy is 4! It seems like ust yesterday you were born.

Cole on his birth day

Cole on his 1st birthday

2nd birthday...

3rd...

and 4th....

His 4th year:
*The biggest thing he has done is he started preschool!! he goes to school on T/Th from 9-noon and he LOVES it!!! he is learning so much and we couldn't be happier.
* we took off his training wheels around 3 1/2 and he rides like a pro
* he is playing his second season of soccer and loves it.
* he is the most amazing, kind hearted, gentle spirited kid I know.
* he wore a football ersery for the first half of the year and refused to wear anything else
* he refused to wear pants and now successfully he wears them all the time!!
* he can pour his own cup of milk!!!
* he LOVES robots and often pretends to be one. In fact, his teacher told me he likes to give the weather report in his robot voice!!

In the spirit of robots, I made these cupcakes for him to take to school:

For his 4th birthday, we got him a new big boy bike. It happens to be black with green robots on it. Wow...did we score when we saw that!!!

He is the most amazing child. To watch him grow and know that this little child came from me and Chad is the greatest miracle of all. He is a wonderful little kid who is the best big brother to both Carson and Caylee. He protects them to know end. Happy Bithday Sweet Baby Cole!

We heart bubbles

The boys love bubbles and could stay in the tub for hours. Bubbles work great when Caylee needs to go to bed and the boys need to take baths. There's something about those bubbles that keep the boys so entertained. Not only do they entertain them but they manage to keep all the water in the tub! (fyi - caylees room is right next to the bathroom so I can hear everything that is happening for those that might be freaking out right about now).

Caylee's got chompers!

Not only is Miss Caylee rolling...but she is sporting two chompers. Cole's teeth sprouted out at 3. 5 months so i decided to look in Caylee's mouth the other day and nothing was there. Well....the kids were playing outside the day before yesterday and I took some pictures of Caylee in the baby swing. I showed Chad that night and we said 'whoa, I think those are teeth". So the next morning I looked in her mouth and sure enough 2 teeth had sprouted. This is all happening way to fast.

the picture above is how we noticed the teeth!

rollin' rollin' rollin'

That's right. Miss Caylee has rolled today. Not once, or twice...but three times! My superstar has rolled three times from her back to her tummy! Way to go Miss Caylee.

fun in the mud

We have gotten a lot of rain the past couple weeks and some crazy fun storms. Since we had a lake in our backyard, the boys and dogs went at it! Cole loved it and Carson didn't like the squishy mud on his feet. This totally surprises me...you would think it would be the other way around. Cole is the kid who cries when his shirt gets wet and if grass gets stuck on his foot. So him playing in the mud and loving it was fun to watch.

'll lady is 3 months old

Little miss Caylee is 3 months old. My.Oh.My!

What are we doing at 3 months:
*Caylee loves to coo. She could coo all day long and have a conversation. If you look at her in the eyes and talk to her, she lights up and coo's right back.
* She smiles!!! She gets so excited to see me, daddy and her brothers and lights right up. Every now and then you can get a giggle. She has been smiling since about 5 weeks but it seems as if her smile seems to grow bigger every day.
* She still loves to swing!!
* She loves, loves, loves to be carried around in the baby backpack when we are out and about running errands.
* She eats every 3 hours
* She sleets 8 hours before a feeding at night time. last week we were blessed with a 9 hour night and a 12 hour night but, 8 hours is pretty consistent.
* she has turned into our little pork chop!
* and last but not least...she is stubbor and still refuses the bottle:(
