January Bunco

Bunco is back in business! The bunco group took December off due to the craziness of the holidays and last night started the new year. Katie kicked it off with a spa themed bunco. We were in our comfy robes and slippers and enjoyed the yummy Sangrias she served up. In fact, i may have enjoyed them too much:).

Here's Katie...our hostess with the mostess!!

Playgroup Family Night

Tina hosted tuesday playgroup family night at her house last night. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed the Chili she made for the group. Cole had fun playing with his friends and Chad enjoyed hanging out with the husbands. It's amazing that Cole was 8 months old when we joined Tuesday playgroup and now all of our babies are not babies anymore and there are now 15 kids in the group with all the new siblings! Looking forward to February's trip to the zoo and the private tour!

Carson and the army crawl

So yesterday was a big day in our house. Cole learned to ride and Carson started the army crawl. It's all downhill from here. Just kidding! It is so exciting to see my boys grow up and move to the next stage in life. I am so fortunate to be able to be at home and witness all of their firsts. Daddy works hard for us to have me at home, so I try and run to get the camera to capture these precious moments.

Bike Riding

Cole can ride a big boy bike! Chad got Cole a big boy bike for Christmas. His train table and scooter far outshined his bike so he wanted nothing to do with it. Yesterday morning i got the bike out and he hasn't gotten off since. It took him all of about 2 minutes to figure out how it worked. The video below is of our first bike ride to the mail box. Now, i am running down the street pulling Carson in the wagon to catch up to him. I think i had about 6 near heart attacks yesterday. I will be skinny in no time at this rate.

Superstition Farm Tour

The boys and I went with my MOMS Club on a tour of a local farm. We had so much fun and learned quite a bit. Did you know that the brown cows milk is used for ice cream and butter and the black and white cows are just for milk? Did you also know that all the cows on the dairy farm have magnets in their tummys? Want to know why...if they happen to swallow a screw it will stick to the magnet in their stomach and the acids will dissolve it which will prevent the screw from passing through their digestive tract which would kill them. Who-da thunk?

We took a hayride around the farm to see all the cows and how they make the feed After the hayride we got to feed the goats!! Carson had fun watching his brother. If you live in Arizona and you want to support Arizona farmers and buy the freshest milk Bashas Brand, Safeway, Lucern, Frys and Shamrock's milk are straight from the farms and the freshest you can get. I also learned that you have 7 days after the sell by date that's printed on the gallon.

NFC Championship Game

Hooray, Hooray, Hooray!! Chad and I went to the Cardinals game yesterday and had a B-L-A-S-T! My Dad and his wife flew in from Philly to go to the game with us.

The game started at 1pm and we left at 8:45am to head down to the stadium to tailgate. We arrived at 9:30am and it was already packed. We grilled Carne Asada, watched the pre-game and tossed the football around. We knew it was going to be busy so we packed it up at noon to head into the stadium. It was croweded getting through security, then you had to wait again just to get in. Once in, we got our NFC Championship Towl and were ready to cheer for the Cardinals. Jordin Sparks kicked it off by singing the national anthem and did an amazing job and Collective Soul performed at half-time. The game was amazing and we never sat down. We protected the nest!! Next up, superbowl victory!!

Happy Birthday Chad/Daddy!

Friday was Chad's 35th birthday. We met Chad for lunch at a park near his work and had a picnic with the boys. The boys had fun seeing him and Cole was sad when he had to go back to work. After nap time Cole and I had fun figer painting Dad's birthday decorations for our pizza party that evening with his parents. Happy Birthday Chad!
