This summer has been loads of fun for us since we have a pool again!! And not only do we have a pool, but the years of ISR (infant swin resource) lessons have paid off as both boys can swim. Here are some pics of the boys being silly!!
Sometimes getting in the pool with all three kids is too much work. Caylee loves to play in the water but the pool is not necessarily her cup of tea. So to the slip n slide we go....
then...when we do want to deal with water at all...we bust out the good ole bouncy. This bouncy is 4 years old and is one of the best purchases we have made. We love this thing and has held up well for us over the past 4 years. This was Caylee's first time and she squealed with delight when entering the bouncy. She managed to hang with her brothers and not get trampled!!!
It's been really fun to watch the boys play together. Generally they are so sweet and kind to each other and have so much fun playting together. Yes, there are those moments when they fight but for the most part they truly do get along. They will be best friends for life.

August Fun
Carson is a big boy!!! Carson finally got to start preschool!!!! He has watched his brother go to school for the past year and has always wanted to go. When it was his turn to finally start school....he didn't want to go. I think he was nervous and scared and this was his first time doing something all on his own without his big brother Cole. When we got to school he didn't want to go so I had to carry him in. But, as soon as his buddy Noah arrived all was good. Noah happens to be one of our neighbors and I am so excited that him and Carson are going to school together.
He was so excited to see me at the end of the day. But the person who Carson was most excited to share his day with was daddy. Carsie just loves his daddy right now.
'lil miss Caylee LOVES to read books with her momma. One night I was reading books and I asked Chad to take some pictures. Us moms never get to be in pictures of the daily things we do with our kids. It's about time it happens. This book reading is a new world for me. The boys were never interested in reading books at this age. The only thing they liked about books was to eat or destroy them. So, i am really enjoying this special time with her.
If you can't sleep in your own room...then sleep under the pool table:) Chad and I were watching tv the other night and our way to bed found cole sleeping here.
We are back in sports class with the boys. But this time the boys are each going on their own. Both boys are lucky enough to have a friend in their class. Colies friend Gabe joins us tuesday morning and Carson's friend Joshua joins us on wednesday. They love the class and are learning so much. We were outside playing last week and Chad was so impressed with Cole's aim. I told Chad that Coach Lance taught them that. Each week they focus on either baseball, basketball or soccer along with speed and agility. It's the cutest thing to watch each week.
Coach Lance is teaching the boys how to run backwards.
And last but not least...my two little pirates. Ahoy Mateys!!!

New little toy!!!
I have a new little toy!!! It's called a
babycakes cake pop maker.
I have seen some posts on FB from people who own one. What really sold me was they were making muffin balls!!! HELLO!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!! What kid doesn't like to eat something they just pop in their mouth??
Blueberry muffin mix right from the box.
The same gal posted that when they were nice and hot out of the maker, she dropped them in a bag of powder sugar:
And below is a finished blueberry muffin ball!!! The kids are leaning the letter B at school this week so I will send each of them off with a batch of these. Can i say yumm-o!!!!

July 4th
This year Chad and I hosted our 1st July 4th Bash. Last 4th of July is when we came home from the hospital with Baby Caylee and realized the church right across the street from us was doing fireworks. I remember that night like it was yesterday. it was so special for me to come home from the hospital and get to share a special evening with my kids, Carson especially. Carson was not happy with me when he visited me in the hospital so be able to share the night with him was the best night ever!!
Any whoo, on to this year...
Since we have the best seats in the house for the fireworks show...and I love to host parties...that could only mean one thing. Yep, a party!! Looking forward to this fun family yearly event.
