Polar Express

This past week we took the boys up north to Williams, AZ home of the Polar Express!!! Cole was looking forward to this trip all week and to seeing snow. When we first saw signs of snow Cole was so excited and kept telling us there was snow. He also kept asking us if we could stop so he could play. Well, we finally did stop because he said he needed to go potty. So, him and dad made some yellow snow.
We pulled up to the grand canyon railway, the hotel where we stayed, and knew it was going to be a fun 24 hours. There was snow everywhere and kids were playing everywhere throwing snowballs and making snowmen.. We met up with Uncle Gary and his family as well as Grandma and Grandpa when we arrived.

After we were all settled in we waited in line to see Santa. While we waited the kids played in the snow some more. Cole had fun eating the snow and kept telling me it tasted like ice cream.

drum roll please..... here are the santa pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is the group pic...........................and.................................and yes, our wonderful woudn't change it for the world family picture!!

Up next, the polar express. The train pulled up and we waited in line until they conductor said "all aboard". We got settled in our seats and the train was off. The chefs served up hot cocoa and cookies and read the polar express while the train headed to the north pole. After passing through the time warp, we were there. We waived out the window at Santa and his elves then headed back to town. On the way back we sang Christmas Carols and then Santa hopped on the train and visited with each child and handed them a bell. My kids were getting restless at this point so they were tickled to have something to play with.

The kids were so tired by the end of the day the konked out. We woke up the next morning enjoyed the breakfast buffet, played in the snow some more then headed to the deer farm. All in all it was a great trip and looking forward to heading back next year.
