Last soccer season everyone on the team got along that we all decided to sign up to be on the same team for this season. Well, now we are in the bigger league and have a weekly practice Tonight was our fist practice
Here are the boys lining up to get there uniform:
Not only do the kids get uniforms, but this year they all got a soccer ball.
Now comes the sad part...
See that kid on the end with the yellow shirt? Well, Carson went and stood next to him like all the other big kids waiting for their stuff. All the kids got their uniform then there soccer balls. Carson stood there just like all the other big boys waiting... he then turned, looked at me and said 'what bout me?' that about broke my heart and all the other moms there.
It's a darn good thing there was a playground near by. I asked the moms to watch Cole and told Carson that we get to go and play!!
I love having the boys so close together (18 months) but at times like this it is hard. Carson doesn't understand why he can't play, why he doesn't get a soccer ball, etc. The good thing is he won't remember these moments forever. We can't wait for next fall when Carson get's to play soccer.

Poor Carson! It is so hard to be left out. Noah had the same reaction, "what about my soccer team mom!?" I had to explain that they don't have teams for 2 year olds. He gets left out of school, birthday parties- he even wants to do homework like Isaak. Maybe Noah and Carson can get on a team together next year!
