Christmas Eve/Christmas Day

Every year Chad and I host Christmas Eve for the Perham Family. Chad's brothers, cousins, parents and aunts come over for a night of fun and Mexican food!! We enjoyed hosting and loved the gifts we made out with on the gift exchange. here is the group...

After everyone left we sprinkled our reindoor food outside and left our cookies out for Santa.

The next morning we opened presents with the boys, had Chads parents over for breakfast burritos, played, napped then headed over to my moms for Christmas dinner. We had the best dinner ever...steak and crab legs!!!!!!!!!! Chad was in heaven and told my mom it was the best dinner ever! Men are so easy to please.

The boys had such a great christmas and love all their new presents. Here are some pictures of their favorites...

the makings of a ginger bread house

We made a ginger bread house for the first time. Well, i wouldn't say we made it...it's one of those premade houses and all you do is frost and decorate. Perfect for us!!! Cole had so much fun decorating his house and was so proud to display that he didn't eat any candy off of it. Way to go Cole!! Next year Carson will get to make one too!!!

holiday cheer with playgroup

Last weekend me and the playgroup mommies headed out for a night on the town. We went to this great wine bar called down under. I can't wait to go back and do the wine tasting with everyone. We all had such a great time and it was fun to get away and visit without our kids!!

Polar Express

This past week we took the boys up north to Williams, AZ home of the Polar Express!!! Cole was looking forward to this trip all week and to seeing snow. When we first saw signs of snow Cole was so excited and kept telling us there was snow. He also kept asking us if we could stop so he could play. Well, we finally did stop because he said he needed to go potty. So, him and dad made some yellow snow.
We pulled up to the grand canyon railway, the hotel where we stayed, and knew it was going to be a fun 24 hours. There was snow everywhere and kids were playing everywhere throwing snowballs and making snowmen.. We met up with Uncle Gary and his family as well as Grandma and Grandpa when we arrived.

The hotel where we stayed.

After we were all settled in we waited in line to see Santa. While we waited the kids played in the snow some more. Cole had fun eating the snow and kept telling me it tasted like ice cream.

drum roll please..... here are the santa pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is the group pic...........................and.................................and yes, our wonderful woudn't change it for the world family picture!!

Up next, the polar express. The train pulled up and we waited in line until they conductor said "all aboard". We got settled in our seats and the train was off. The chefs served up hot cocoa and cookies and read the polar express while the train headed to the north pole. After passing through the time warp, we were there. We waived out the window at Santa and his elves then headed back to town. On the way back we sang Christmas Carols and then Santa hopped on the train and visited with each child and handed them a bell. My kids were getting restless at this point so they were tickled to have something to play with.

The kids were so tired by the end of the day the konked out. We woke up the next morning enjoyed the breakfast buffet, played in the snow some more then headed to the deer farm. All in all it was a great trip and looking forward to heading back next year.

Princess and the Frog

Chad and i along with Tia and Matt took the kids to see Disney's new movie - Princess and the Frog. We stopped at McDonalds beforehand and smuggled in happy meals for the kids. The kids did great and sat through the entire movie...even Carson. It was a cute movie!

Decembers Mommy and Me painting class

This months mommy and me painting class was a cookies for santa plate along with a tumbler - cutest things ever!!!!!!!!!!!! This month was hard managing both boys because there was so much involved. Around the edge of the plate and around the tumbler is a strand of lights which consist of their finger prints in various colors. My boys did so good that they were rewarded with treats throughout. The finished product turned out great and I am looking forward to the next month's project which is in February.

Merry Christmas

For Christmas the boys major present was a swingset. This past weekend little elves by the name of Chad, Matt, Tia and D put the set together. We love it and so do the boys.

This swing set rocks. It has a clubhouse up top, fort down below, rope ladder, 2 swings, a glider and a basketball hoop!! Auntie Tia has a swing set similar to this so I knew the boys would like it. Ours is different as it has the glider. Since we will be having 3 children I knew we would need something that all 3 can be on at one time (way to think ahead carie!!!) , so I ordered the extended set. Cole calls it his playgroud. We were swinging earlier today and he saidn"i am swinging on my own playgroud'. So stinking cute!

Can you teach an old dog new tricks? How about being whacked while the boys are swining? How many times do you think this will happen until they get a clue??????

Officer Cole to the rescue

What a fun time at playgroup we had last week!!! Victoria's daddy, Victor, brought the police car to playgroup. The kids had so much fun touring the car, talking on the radio and watching the lights. My kids LOVe to play in our cars so they were in pure heaven being able to play in the police car. I think Cole, Brayden, Victoria and Carson liked it best. Thanks Amie for hosting a fun playgroup!!!

Officer Perez to the rescue!Hopefully that's the last and only time Cole is ever in the back of a police car!Victoria, Cole, Brayden and Carson playing in the front of the carHey Mom!!
