Scottsdale Airpark

Today we headed to my Moms work for lunch. She works at the Scottsdale Airpark up in North Scottsdale and I take the boys up there every 3-4 months for lunch. Cole has so much fun watching the planes take off, checking out the hanger and exploring some of the airplanes. We got to check out the inside of the Gulf Stream which goes for $3,800 and hour. I wish!! Below is a slide show of the fun!

If you are a major Sun Devil fan then you will not want to look at the following pictures. It was hard even for me to see, but he is so darn cute that i couldn't help snap away with the camera. We headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's to bbq and watch the UofA basketball game and left with these cute photos of my little guy.

Easter Egg Hunt

Since St. Patty's day has come and gone, we have now moved on to Easter! The MOPS group that I am apart of had their annual Easter Egg hunt for all the kids. It was Spring Break and all the siblings were present. It was really cute how they set it up - 2 and under were in a little enclosed area in the worship center and 3 and up were everywhere else. I was looking forward to today as Cole is at the perfect age to understand what is happening. Cole was super excited to collect the eggs and even more excited when he found surprises inside of the them!

Spring Training

We took the boys to a spring traning game today in Scottsdale - giants vs. royals. The boys had so much fun and held up well considering the fact it was right in the middle of nap time. Cole had so much fun eating cracker jacks, playing ball and horsing around with Daddy and Carson just wanted to do everything that Cole was doing. The weather was beautiful and we all lasted till the 7th inning and figured we should hit the road. The boys passed out about 2 minutes after leaving.

Birthday Fun

Saturday was birthday fun day! First we headed out to celebrate Brayden's 3rd birthday at the park where they had a huge bouncy! Cole was in heaven.
Cole getting excited to bounce!!Bouncing with the birthday boy! Then we headed clear across town to celebrate Chad's grandpa's 80th birthday party. I was glad that we were able to make it and be apart of Great Grandpa's special day! Happy Birthday Carl.

Handy Manny

We have our very own handy manny in the house!! For those of you not fortunate enough to watch the disney channel, Handy Manny is a cartoon where you guessed it...Handy Manny fixes things. My little Colie is our little handy manny. Our door handle broke so I called Grandpa Don to see if he could come and help fix it. Cole was so excited to see Grandpa and then was super excited when he got the help out. He had his power drill out and was ready to work.

Moms Gone Wild

The bunco group headed to Vegas for the National Bunco Touney and of course to get away. The fun started on Friday at the airport and kept going from there. We arrived in Vegas and took a sweet limo ride to the Luxor. We partook in some adult beverages, enjoyed a nice Italian dinner then hit the clubs...we were the dancing queens. Saturday we enjoyed the breakfast buffet where i gobbled down an omelette, taco and a piece of cheesecake!! We then headed to our bunco tourney where I lost but Jacki made it to the semi-finals - go jacki!!! Then it was time for round 2! We did dinner at a fabolous restaurant called Tequila and Tacos then hit a couple more bars. I was over the bars and decided to hit the black jack tables at mid-night and lasted till 4:30am! Vegas took my money but we had a great time!

Carson's first words

Carson has been babbling a lot lately. Chad is mistaking his babbling of da da da da da for the word Dada and thinks he is calling him. I guess i will let him think that, but we all know that his first word recognition will be the word........Mama!!!

Family Fun at Freestone park

Chad has been super busy with work lately and has been working on Satruday's. So, come Sunday he wants to do something fun with the boys. We took the boys to Freestone park. We bought a book of 20 tickets and used all but 2 - i call that a victory! We started off with the little amusment rides and took Carson on his first cho cho train ride. All aboard! Then Cole was big enought to do his very first ride all by himself. He rode on the jet skies. One time was not enough so he had to do it again. Then he rode the merry go round with Daddy followed by the mini-ferris wheel. Cole had fun on the ferris wheel but i think he would of had more fun if he had a little friend with him. After all the hoopla, we laid our blanket down to eat our picnic lunch and to feed the ducks. All in all it was such a fun family day.

But...the fun didn't end there. I made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner that night and my little cutie pie Colie wanted to eat outside. So, Chad set-up our dinner out front in the drive way. Might i say my little Cole is going to make some girl very happy one day because he amazes me every day!!!!!

Craft Fair

Yesterday I did my very first craft fair!! I brought some decorative burp cloths, taggies, hair bows/flowers and tutu's!! The craft fair in itself was not too great. They didn't have much traffic so I only sold a couple of things. I guess you have to take the good with the bad and i am looking forward to doing my next one. My girlfriend gave me a really cute apron to replicate so I can't wait to get started on those. My new adventure - aprons and capes for the boys!!!
