There's a baby in my tummy

The other day Cole stuffed a pair of shorts under his shirt and told me there was a baby in this tummy! What did i do? What any blogging mommy would do...Told him to stay right there so I could run and grab the camera!

Ta Da!

Our new play area is complete!!! We have a very large hallway in the 'kid wing' of our house. Since we needed the existing playroom for baby Caylee, we created a play area in the hall way....and it looks awesome!!!

This might be my favorite part - the doodles and drawings wall!!

still making room for baby

The boys have been busy helping Daddy with our new projects. We are almost done and can't wait to post pictures of our new play area!!!

Fun with Carson

My girlfriend Laura told me about a class through parks and rec called tiny tots that she had signed her son Joshua up for... so I signed Carson up too! What's great about this is A - it's the first class Carson has done. He has always been the on looker watching Cole in his classes while strapped in his stroller and B - Cole checks into the child care- which is awesome for him and for me , and C - did i mention it's the first class he has done with mommy all to himself?!?!

Carse had so much fun playing with the balls, running on the stage, dancing, climbing through the tunnels and playing with the parachute. We can't wait for next week! Thanks Laura for telling us about the class!!!!

It's blurry but how funny that Joshua and Carson have the same shirts on!
Where's Carsey???????????????

Soccer Stud

Cole is officially a soccer stud!! For the past couple weeks we begged and bribed to get Cole in the game. Well last week he turned a corner and became a big boy! He had so much fun sitting on the sidelines with the team, playing soccer and cheering his team mates on! At one point during the game he ran up to me and said "mom, i want to score a goal!'. But, then the game was over. I told him there is always next time!!! We are so proud of our little guy!

Below is a picture of Cole with is buddy Tanner. Tanner is the only person he knows on the team. We have had a fun time getting to know the other kids and the other moms on the team. I guess you can now call me a soccer mom!!

Baseball Blanket

A long time ago my girlfriend Angelica showed me a baseball blanket she made for her husband and it inspired me to want to make one. So...I finally found some time to tackle this crazy idea of mine as my deadline was to have it done before spring traning. I had no idea how i wanted it to look but knew I wanted to incorporate the diamondbacks and baseball patches. One of Chads dreams is to visit every baseball stadium before he dies so I went on the internet and ordered baseball patches of all the stadiums/teams we have been to together. I made some basic quilt squares put them together then just started laying fabric and cutting till it lined up. If i may say so myself - I think our family blanket turned out wondeful! I still have a coupel more patches to put on, but it's done!

making room for baby

Time is flying by and Baby C will be making her arrival before we know it. In the meantime, we are making room for baby! First on our list is to make a new play area for the boys as the current playroom will be her room. We bought some great storage units from Ikea and Chad and the boys have been busy at work. Can't wait to post pictures of the new set-up once we are done!

Carson and his books

The other day I was looking for Carson to put him down for his afternoon nap. When I found him I had to run back and find the camera. It was too cute not too. He had climbed into his chair to read so books before going Nigh Nigh! Carson LOVES to read books. If you say "carson, want to go read a book?" he will take off running to his room. Hopefully it keeps up because Cole could take or leave it.

Chandler Mall

Last week I took the boys to the mall to play and do some window shopping. Carson had so much fun playing in the kids area as did Cole. I have to admit that it was so much fun to watch Carson play. He was so super eexcited to be there and had a bounce in his step. Everything there is more his size. After playing we went to check out some things at potter barn kids for the baby in the belly and potential new bedroom furniture.
Our fun day would quickly come to an end. We ordered food in the food court, got the kids situated and they started eating. Then I finally got situated and was ready to dig in. All of a sudden Cole started coughing and threw up everywhere! I asked for a to go box, boxed up my lunch, cleaned up the spew, took Cole's clothes off then headed to the restroom for more clean up. Fortunately there is a Gap kids right there so Cole got a pair of jersey shorts and a t-shirt. We headed home got Carson out of his seat and took could smell that he needed a diaper change. Got ready to chage his diaper and noticed when i put him down that i was covered in poop. Apparently Carson had the runs and it ran out of his diaper when i was holding him. All in all it was still a fun day but a day for a much needed nap for all of us!!!
