Costume Parade

Every year my MOMS club does a costume parade at a senior citizens home. This year my boys went as a duck and a "T" Bird. Cole is at the horrible stage where there is no way i could put him into the costume. So, i dressed up to go with him. We had a fun time and Carson stole the show with all the seniors.

Cole's 2nd birthday party

Yesterday, we celebrated Cole's 2nd birthday with friends and family at Tumbleweek park. This year's theme was construction - first year of demoltion is complete and now it's time to rebuild! The kids got to play at the park, decorate construcion hats and eat good food! Cole had fun playing with his friends while celebrating his birthday. I think he has also mastered the art of eating a cup cake:

1st step - get a taste of what you are about to eat

Step 2 - realizing it tastes pretty goodStep 3 - this is not good...it's really goodStep 4 - it's so good i want to inhale the frosting!!!Last step - this takes to long - let's just shovel it in:)

And that is how a 2 year old eats a cupcake!!

Baby shower gift

So, i told you that i have been feeling crafty lately....well, see for yourself! Above are the pictures of the stuff I made for Leesha's baby shower. I had so much fun making the items and got so many compliments that I decided to start a business doing it!!! I can't tell you the name until I reserve it with the Corporation Commission, but I already have 6 orders for stuff!!! I can not wait to post pictures of the new stuff I am working on. Everything is so cute and fun and it is embroidered which makes the gift so personal. I will be doing burp cloths, changing pads, taggy style blankets and toddler size aprons!!! Tell me what you think!!!

Future Baller?

Grandma and Grandpa watched the boys yesterday so I could run some errands and clean the house Grandpa Don had a fun trick to show me when I went to pick up the boys. He was teaching Cole how to dribble the basket ball!! Go Cole go!

Craft Bug!

I have been bit by the craft bug or something. No, I am not pregnant just super crafty lately. It all started with a play date at my super crafty friend Cheryls house. She is the most amazing person ever. You name it, she does it. Anyway, when you first walk up to her house you see this really cute fall wreath. I, being the admirer that i am, went out the next day and bought the supplies to make my own. see pic...

Our next play date we turned into a craft day and made these fun Boo! signs. They were so easy that I may try it again.

Being on the craft roll that i am on, i decided to make a fun Halloween wreath and cute little ghosts out of the boys feet. We made enough ghosts for all the grandparents, now i just need to mail them. Just wait until I post pics of my newest craft projects. My SIL's baby shower is this weekend and i don't want to spoil the fun. More to come...

Brothers

I love my boys!! They are both so darn cute and continue to amaze me every day. Cole is so sweet and gentle to his little brother. When Cole woke up from his afternoon nap we decided to play and read books in his bedroom. While reading books Carson worked on his sitting skills...and keeps toppling over. So, Cole came up right next to him to put his arm around him to help hold him up. I told him not to move so i could run and grab the camera. Then we did tummy time and Cole laid right next to him and started to name the objects on the book to Carson!! I think this may be our new way of reading. Cole had so much fun and Carson just thinks the world of Cole. I am so blessed to have such two beautiful and happy boys..with big blue eyes!

Schnepf Farms

The Perham Gang, along with Aunti Tia and Ava, headed out to Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek this past weekend for the annual Pumpkin and Chili Party. We had such a great time and the weather was beautiful. Below are some pictures.

Cole loved watching the pig races. He kept saying "pig, pig".

The kids were excited for the lunch break. They ate pretzels while we feasted on pulled pork sandwhiches and roasted corn on the cob. The food was so good!!

What's your name mister?

We got some great family photos and the kids got to see 'how tall they were this fall'!

Cole had fun picking out his pumpkin. I think he was bummed when he realized that these big orange things didn't bounce like balls. Boring!

Mom & Tot Breakfast

The boys and I hosted Mom & Tot Breakfast for our MOMS Club here at the house. We made pancakes and a breakfast casserole. The boys and I love pancakes so we had fun making them for everyone. It finally started to cool down so we brought out the bouncy and set up the tables outside to eat so we could enjoy the nice weather. As you can see in the pictures Cole had a great time bouncing and digging. What more could one ask for? Ah, to be young again!!
