Final Rose ceremony

Last night was the season finale of one of my favorite realty shows...the Bachelor. My girlfriend Tina hosted a little gals gathering for the finale. Since I am a super cheesy person and get excited about the silly things in life, i bought roses for everyone!! I couldn't wait to ask everyone 'will you accpet this rose!" (If you don't watch the show you will have no idea what I am talking about). We had fun drinking wine and watching Jillian pick her true love. Here are some pics from the fun evening.

Here I am so excited to get my rose!!Amy and TinaMyself, Lori and TinaCrazy KyleWednesday Playgroup Ladies!!

Uncle Ben's visit

Uncle Ben and his family came into town this past weekend. We had such a great time and the boys were in heaven playing with their cousins all weekend. They arrived Friday and the kids played and watched the lighting show at night time. Then on Saturday we hit the splash pad by our house then bowled in the afternoon. Sunday, we went to the public pool then grilled. My little brother Jon came over as well!! It was great to see my brother, Ben and the girls and we are missing them already.

more painting

While I was away at bunco my husband had some guys over for poker. Well, someone broke my favorite popcorn bowl. Not just any popcorn bowl but, one that was made last year for mothers day with Cole's footprints. Since I knew Carson was going to be born mothers day weekend, i took Cole to the pottery place several weeks before so we could make our gifts for everyone. I was a little bummed when i saw the the bowl in pieces and saw Colies tiny little footprint. I knew if I didn't do it today, we would never get around to it so, I dragged Cole and the kids back to the pottery place to re-create my favorite popcorn bowl. I can't wait to post pictures when it is done. Here are some pictures of us at the pottery place. I was kinda excited because I got something else done that I have been meaning to do for the past 6 months and the boys got to paint their own cereal bowls.
Here is the making of my pop corn bowlCole painting his new cereal bowlI have been wanting to do hand plates for on top of my kitchen cabinets forever. I was happy to finally get it done.

Bunco -luau style

last night I met up with my girlfriends for our monthly bunco. Last nights theme was Luau and Jenni was the hostess. She served up white sangria which was awesome, steak kabobs, coconut cake and some other fun treats. I had a great time and walked away with $35!!

My painters

As most of you know we have moved. Our house is full of white walls and it's killing me. I am not a white wall type of girl so...it's time to paint. It's really hard to paint when you have two kids so we try and paint when they sleep. When they are awake, Cole likes to paint too.

Below is a slide show of some pictures of our house. Like I said - lots of white walls.

pictures finally...

So I finally took Carson to get his official 1 year old pictures. I did not want to go as I have taken some great pics of Carson lately and knew that his pictures don't turn out so well at the studio. Well, i was right. It was nuts and I wanted it to end as soon as it started. I ended up getting 2 decent shots out of the 12 that were taken. I took a picture of the pic so I could show you guys as my scanner is not working.

Silly me thought it would be fun to take a picture with both boys. HA!! Who was I kidding. Below is the best picture we could get...of course I had to order it. In case you don't see it but the legs behind me are Cole's:)

4th of July Weekend!

The Perham Gand headed to Pinetop for the weekend with the rest of the Perham Gang (chad's brother and his parents). We had so much fun and enjoyed the cooler weather. The boys did great on the car ride up and were bouncing all over the bed once we arrived at the hotel.

Cole and Carson bouncing around with their cousins Grace and Christopher. Later that evening we went out to dinner with the family.

Now comes the fun....

Saturday was a blast. We took Cole fishing!! The Perham Gang along with Uncle Gary and his family rented a pontoon boat for the 1st half of the day. Cole was so excited to go on a boat ride and to fish. He had his very own car themed fishing pole. Instead of a hook he had a rubber tire that he fished with. He probably had the most fun and had the least chance of acutally cathing anything!

Driving the boat with Uncle Gary.Fishing like the big kids!!

After fishing we headed back to the hotel for naps so we could get rested for the big night. We headed to Showlow/Taylor for a rodeo. The boys had so-o-o-o much fun and loved watching the cowboys bull ride, horse ride, barrel race and all the other fun stuff. After the rodeo were fireworks. We weren't sure how the boys would do but the loved it. Cole kept saying KaBoom when the loud ones went off. Cole also met a friend at the rodeo. Once the fireworks started she said "Cole, aren't they beautiful?". I thought that was the cutest thing. And indeed they were beautiful!
