My Boys

Chad and I are pretty fortunate in the neighbor situation. We only have one neighbor until they finish building out our cul de sac (which won't be any time soon)- their middle son dog sits for us, my boys have a crush on their daughter who will be old enough to baby sit in a couple years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and their oldest does photography. Their oldest is in town for the thanksgivign holiday so he took some pictures of my boys. I love them and just wanted to share the pics with you. Carson was easy to take pictures of , Cole on the other hand was a pistol. I was impressed that he managed to get some good pics of cole.

go wildcats

Chad and I, along with Tia and Matt, headed down to tucson last weekend to watch UofA play Oregon. We had a fantastic time and Chad and Matt had fun showing Tia and I all around campus. We toured the campus, ate at the Firkin Frog, rooted for the wildcats and hit the town one more time after the game before heading back to the hotel. We were sad to watch the wildcats loose after double overtime. I was even more sad when my camera died after taking like 4 pictures. Guess I should of charged the battery.
Tia and I were wildcat fans for the day. Only for one day people!!Chad and matt in front of old main.

Fun Stages

Cole and Carson are at such fun stages right now in their lives. First, it's hard to believe that Cole is now 3 and is becoming a little man. The best part about Cole right now is what he is saying. Just the other day I was doing something and he said to me "I am so proud of you mommy". It was so cute to hear him say that and made me think that I must say that same statement a lot to Cole for him to repeat that line to me. There are days like this that you feel like you are doing a good job as a mom!

Another cute story was last night. Some nights when we know it's going to be a challenge for Cole to put down the toys and go to bed we set the timer. We tell him that when the timer goes off it's time to clean up and go to bed. Well, apparently last night he was tired and asked Daddy and I to set the timer. At first we had no idea what he was saying and asked him to show us. He walked to the oven and said "set the time". I then said "oh, do you want to go to bed" and he shook his head. So, we set the timer for a minute and when the timer went of we marched to bed!!!

Carson is our little mischevious crazy man! He loves to antagonize his brother, push buttons that he knows he shouldn't, throws his food when he is done and runs as fast as he can when he has something that you want. Knowing that all of this will end one day (hoping it will) makes this stage in his life so cute. But what is so cute about carson and will be cute about him for the rest of his life is his smile. He has an infectious smile that lights up his eyes and the room. His cute little dimple on his right cheek seems to help too in the cuteness department!

We have had so much fun watching them and look forward to the next stages!!

Mommy and Me painting fun

The other day me and my girlfriend Cheryl took our kids to the mommy and me painting class at the pottery store that I love so much. On this months menu - turkey plates!!! The feathers are made out of the boys footprints and then we had to draw the rest of the turkey (hence why mine doesn't look that great). But, needless to say they are super cute and the kids had fun while Cheryl and I painted. Next month - cookies for santa plates. They turn the kids handprints into reindeer!!!!!

feather fun

One of Cole's favorite bed times book is a book by Dr. Seuse title 'Go Dog Go'. When i first read it, I thought it was the strangest book ever. But now that I have read it a million times I have realized what a great book it is. It teaches so many things in a random sort of way. Any whoo, my favorite part of the book (which is kinda like the chorous of a song) is when the guy and girl dog run into each other though out the book and say "Hello" "Hello" "Do you like my hat?" etc, etc, etc. Cole has so much fun saying the lines.

So onto the good stuff. I was walking around the W the other day (Fancy way of stating Wal-mart) and saw feathers. So, i just had to buy them knowing what me and boys could make with this. HATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We made hats and looked like the village people. The best part of the hat making project was when Cole put his had on and said "Hello, do you like my hat" and Cole and I continued on to roll play the book. So cute!!!

tailgaiting

Finally - beautiful weather for tailgaiting. Chad and I have waited all season for this and today was the day. Tia and Matt bought tickets to today's game and it turned out a couple of our other friends were going as well. So, we busted out the tailgaiting supplies.

We set up shop and hooked up the tv, grilled carne asada, and relaxed in the nice weather. Too bad the cards played like crap. We are looking forward to setting up shop again for the Seahawkes game in a couple weeks!!!

Halloween Fun

What a fantastic Halloween weekend the Perham Family had. The kids and Chad and I carved pumpkins Thursday night and they turned out really cute.
On friday night, chad and I had an adult costume party and it was so much fun. We had such a great time with all of our friends. It's so nice to be able to socialize and mingle without the little ones running around yelling Mom all the time. I went as the tooth fairy and Chad was a hippie. We had some great customes and two couples were acutally the same thing - fred and wilma. It was so such a cute costume so i can understand why they would pick it.

Here is a slide show of the party -

Then later that night we took our kids trick or treating with some of our friends who are moving next weekend:( One of cole's bestest friends Nate is moving to flag next weekend. We had a great time hanging out with them and watching the kids trick or treat. I think Carson might of had more fun. He lovede picking the candy out of the bowls and sucking the chocolate through the wrapper. It's amazing I managed to get my kids to bed after the sugar high they were on.
