sledding in flag

Earlier this month we took the kids up north to go sledding and to meet up with our old neighbors the Hustons. We brought my mom along too to help out with the kids. We arrived Friday night and my mom stayed back with the kids while Chad and I went on a double date with Bobbi and Scott. It was so fun to catch up and we had a great time talking and eating.

The next morning we went to a hill in their neighborhood and took the boys sledding. Cole loved it!!!!!!! he couldn't get enough of it. Carson...loved the snow and wanted to keep eating it every chance he got. Caylee stayed all cute and bundled and was a perfect angle. We can't wait to head up north next year. We have decided that we are going to start Cole in skiing lessons and maybe Carson.

we're building a pool

Hot diggity dog...we are building a pool. Buy Buy dirt and hello to our new backyard. We are so excited and can't wait for the finished product!!!! two weeks ago they came to excavate our pool. The boys had so much fun watching and Cole was pretty bummed he had to go to school. I think Carson thought the workers had the coolest job ever.

Cole was so excited to tell all his preschool friends about our tractor that a couple good friends came over after school.

neighborhood fun

We don't have many neighbors but the ones we do have we love!!!!! We are so lucky to of become friends with the Dayton and Hansen family. It just so happens that we have all two boys around the same age and a little girl. Our second boys Lincoln, Noah and Carson will all start kindergarden together!!!! Most afternoons we all get together and ride bikes, dig in the dirt, jump on the trampoline or just play. The Hansen boys came over a couple weeks ago to play and paint a box that my neighbor had given us (amy, you were on a cruise). p.s. i think i should throw away all their toys....all they really need is some paint and a box!!
