We've moved

Chad and I, along with the help of his family, moved this past weekend. We are so fortunate to of had the weather cooperate with us. It has been blazin' hot lately, but for our moving weekend it was nice and cloudy. Phew! We have been in our house for a little less than a week and love it!! We are so excited that everything worked out for us and we were able to sale our old house. We can't wait to grow old here and to watch our boys grow up in this house.
Here is how the move happend - Chad was on a bike ride with the boys ande came home to tell me there was a huge lot avail in a cul-de-sac and asked me if I wanted to go and look. Well, I went to go and look thinking my husband is crazy and fell in love with the house. First and foremost it's a 1 story!!! And second, the lot size. This is the house that we will be planted in 4-eva!!! Here are some pics of the dirt lot.
Cole helping Daddy dig a hole for our very first tree. That was much harder than Chad had anticipated.

Little Swimmers

It's summer time and it's time for swim lessons. For the past couple of years Cole has been doing swimming lessons through ISR (infant swim resource). It's a great program and it teaches infant survival. If they are under 1 they teach the child to float. If they are over 1, they learn the swim float technique. It's been amazing to watch Cole go through this program. This year he learned the swim/float/swim and he is great at it!! Carson started this summer as well learning the float. He is starting week 5 and has 1 more week to go. They are my little fishies!!!

Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day to all you wonderful mommies. We had a fun mothers day this past weekend. We took Chad's mom out to breakfast at the Hanger Cafe. The boys had so much fun watching the planes take off. Then my Mom came over and her and I went to lunch and a chick flick! Does it get any better than that?! Chad finished off the evening by grilling steaks and giving me my wonderful Mothers Day gift. It's a little engraved picture frame that says we love you mommy! Then when you open it up you push a little button and you hear Cole saying " I love you". It's precious!!

This year the boys made hand printed pots for the grandma's. They turned out super cute and thought i would share the pictures.
Here are the Boys with Chad's mom - Grandma LindaThe boys were so proud of their master piece. My wonderful Mothers Day Present. I think I push play about 20 times every night because it's so cute hearing Colie say I wuv you!!!

Caron's B-day

My little guy is officially one! I don't like it one bit, but i guess it happens wheter I like it or not. This year Carson's birthday fell on Mothers day so we celebrated it the day before. Our theme was beach and we held his party at a local splash pad. We had so much fun celebrating his birthday with all our family and friends. Here are some pictures from the day:

Sold!!

We have sold our house!! For those of you who didn't know, we bought a new house right down the street from us in Layton Lakes. The purchase of the new house was contingent upon the sale of our house. Well, we sold! We close on our house this Friday and close on our new house next Thursday. The new owner is letting us lease back our home for a month. It couldn't of worked out any better for us!! Here are some of the rooms I will miss:

This is Carson's air plane themed bedroom. The wall says Cole but I did end up painting Carson's name on it! Since we had two boys we used this as the nursery for both Cole and Carson. I will miss this room but will never forgot the memories. Here is Cole's race car room. I am just tired thinking about having to do this again...We moved Cole to his big boy room when he was just 15 months old. Carson was due in a couple of months and we didn't want to have to buy another crib so we transitioned Cole to a big boy bed. My favorite bathroom ever!! It's the monkey themed room.It reminds me of my two little monkeys! This was the last room of the house I did and then bam...we put the house on the market. Not to worry, you will see the same bathroom in the new house!

And my favorite room of all - the playroom. I had so much fun doing this room. This was a 'while you were out' project. Chad was in DC for a week so I converted his "MAN ROOM" into a playroom. He knew I wanted to do it, but had no idea what i was going to do. The color reminds me of an orange push pop! We will have a playroom at the new house, but will leave it as a clean slate for baby #3's...there is no bun in the oven yet.

Future Star

My girlfriend Jean, who works for Gilbert Fire, called me the other morning to ask what we were doing. I told her nothing and she said come down to station #1 right now, we are filming for car seats and we need a baby. So, off we went. The Gilbert Fire partnered up with they Phoenix Coyotes to film a public service announcement that will go on Channel 11(Gilbert’s PSA channel) and will go on the Coyotes website. Once we get the link I will share with everyone. So for now, here is a picture of our fun day!! The hockey player from the Coyotes is Steven Reinprecht. As you can see Cole was a little camera shy!!
