Happy Birthday Miss Ava

Ava turned three this past weekend! The boys had fun celebrating her birthday with her and her friends at the splash park. Happy Birthday Ava!

Pops in town

My Dad and his wife Cindy came into town last weekend to meet Caylee and visit with the boys. They stayed at the Pointe South Mountain and the boys loved visiting Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Cindy. They had a huge wave pool, which Cole called the beach, a lazy river, and a cute splash pad/pool area too for the kiddos. They came over each night for dinner to visit some more and see Caylee. We enjoyed their visit and miss them already.

I am a pre school teacher!

I am a pre school teacher...to Carson that is.

Carson has been feeling a little out of the loop lately with so many new things happening. First baby sister and then Cole going to school. The hardest part is picking Cole up from school and seeing his new treasure and everything they did for the day. If the kids are good in school and listen to Ms. Jessica, they get to pick something from the treasure box. They also do fun crafts and bring home plenty of work to show mommy and daddy what they did in the day.

So...when Cole is in school I have decided that Carson and I will work on the same letter that Cole is learning that week and have our own fun craft. He then puts the stuff
in his very own backpack and brings it with us when we pick up Cole. he also gets a sucker from me if he was good and listened! Now when daddy gets home from work he will have both kids show them the stuff in their backpack!

This week is the letter C at school so Carson made a cat mask.

Movin on up!

That's right, Ms Caylee is movin' on up! To the crib that is.

I moved her a couple reasons. First, I think she is too long and has out grown the bassinet. Second, I would jump at any noise I heard and tend to her and last, since I am not jumping so fast for every noise maybe she will put herself back to sleep.

She has handled the move just find and doesn't even notice the difference. And yes, she is sleeping on her tummy. I know it's a big tummy, but when you child can sleep 4,5 or 6 hours or more solid on their tummy, you too would put them on it. Cheers to a good night!

Hustons in town

This past weekend we had a bbq with our old neighbors the Hustons. Bobbi and I first met when Cole was a baby. Bobbi had Nate who was about 1 year older and I only had Cole so we became instant friends and had play dates quite often. Now, between the two of us we have 7 kids. Bobbi just had twins back in April. Too bad we aren't neighbors anymore:(

We plan to go up north in the winter to visit and play in the snow.

waterproof

Carson is now waterproof!

The other morning Carson had woken up and was playing in his room while I was feeding the baby. I walked down the hall to get him out of his room and could smell diaper cream down the hallway. Oh no, i thought to myself. I opened the door slowly and here is what I found...my little Carsey covered in diaper rash cream. Off to the tub we go...

skyping

We are hip and trendy...we now skype! What is skyping one may say? Well it's this really cool way of communicating with someone...and be able to see them at the same time. Much like video conferencing for all you workers.

The main person we skype with is Grandpa Chuck and Cindy as they live in PA. The kids dance for him, show them their art projects, etc. It's so super cool. The other night we had Grandma Linda go over to Uncle Garys so they could skype with us. If you too have a camera o
n your computer and want to skype with our crazy family let me know. The boys may perform something special for you!!!

love, love, love

i love, love, love my kids!!! I love that they love each other, I love that I have been given three beautiful children, I love that they are all healthy and happy, I love that they are all mine! I love that they make us want to do and be better as we are now role models. I love they way Caylee looks as me like I am the most amazing person in the world. I love that the boys hug me and hug each other.

Even at the end of the longest day where the kids are driving me bonkers and makeme want to scream from the roof top...I still love them.

Jerseylicious Bunco

This months Bunco theme was Jerseylicious bunco. With so much talk about snookie and the housewives of jersery, who could resist the theme. Kristi was our hostess with the mostess. She greeted us with cute leopard print stars that had our 'jersey name'. I believe mine was 'vibe time'. There were lots of poofs going on and some even sported the bump it! Little miss caylee joined in for the fun one last time. Chad went to the Cardinals game and I had a sitter for the boys. Can't leave little miss caylee with just anyone.Had a great time and I walked away with $35!

Looking forward to next months theme...twilight bunco! Sorry Laura - team jacob:)

Cardinals Training Camp

For the second year in a row, the Perham Fam headed up North for Cardinals Training camp. Tia, Matt and Ava joined in the fun too! We stayed at Tia's parents cabin in Oak Creek, which is only 25 minutes outside of Flag.

We had such a fun time and scored some autographs. Friday was the first day and we went to the am and pm practice. My good friend/old neighbor Bobbi came and met up with us with her kids. The kids enj
oyed playing outside and playing in the kid zone. Saturday morning was the red & white scrimmage day and autograph session. Since it was raining that morning the coach moved the scrimmage into the dome. Uncle Gary and his family came down for Saturday.

After the game we all headed to an italian restaurant for lunch. The entire restaurant was fill
ed with Cardinal's jersey's and I don't think the restaurant was ready for the rush of people. We headed back to the cabin and Bobbi and the boys came down. The kids had so much fun running around outside playing and we had fun catching up.

Looking forward next years camp!!!

nice shiner carson!

Maybe now Carson will listen to his mommy....

The other day the boys kept climbing on the back of the couch. Over and over I would say get down or you are going to fall. But, for some reason their listening ears were not on (not sure if they have ever been:)). Well, i was getting the boys ready for bed and was getting them a cup of milk. I saw Carson on the back on the couch and said...get down or your gonna fall for the umpteenth time. Well this time, he fell. He slammed his head into the tile and about gave me a heart attack. I freaked out and called my friend Kyle whose husband is a paramedic. He said to keep an eye on him and keep him up for about an hour.

When he woke up the next morning, this is what he looked like. Maybe next time they will listen to their mommy!!

I'm a big kid now

That's right...Cole's a big kid now. Today was his first day of preschool!!! he was so excited to go to school and i was excited for him. We walked in and he was so super excited to see his friends Megan and Tanner that I don't even think he said by to me. Actually, I know he didn't say by. I was sad that he was off. Off like a big boy! Off...off...off.

Carson kept asking 'where's cole?'. I said 'at school'. Carson then said 'what about me?', next year honey. Carson is really going to miss him but I think that this time will be so special for
both of us. 3 hours twice a week - perfect!!

Caylee's 1 month

This morning we had Caylee's one month Dr. apt. She is growing like a weed and getting stronger every day. She weighs 9.10 and is 21 1/2 inches long. The doctor was impressed with how well she could hold her head up. We have started tummy time as well. Cole likes to lay down with her and show her how to crawl. It's too cute, he has no idea how long that will take. She opens her eyes quite often and gazes at me like she is in total awe. I LOVE IT! She eats every three hours during the day and sleeps anywhere between 3-5 hours at night. She is a fantastic baby and we love her to pieces. Here are some pictures of our little Ms. Caylee
