Hard working almost 2 year old landscaper for hire - $1 an hour, over 2 months experience, mower acutally doesn't cut grass but does blow out bubbles which gives your grass that special glow, water breaks a necessity and will consider trade of services for animal crackers. Anyone interested????

Today Tuesday playgroup went on a tour of the fire station where Izzy's Daddy works. Wow, the kids had fun! We got to see where they sleep, eat, workout and where the trucks are. They turned on the lights and let the kids get in! Whoo hoo! Here is a picture of the group -

I knew that Cole had a great time but didn’t really know how much he soaked in until later that afternoon.

I heard a fire truck and it sounded like it was right outside. I looked out my garage door and it was at my neighbors house – Hooray!!. I of course get excited and say ‘Colie, Colie, Colie there is a fire truck outside let’s go!!”. My little junior fire fighter runs and gets his plastic red hat from this morning puts it on and runs outside with me. Is that not the cutest thing you have heard?!?!. We walk up and look around and hang out to see what is going on. The fire fighters come out and think Cole is the cutest thing ever. They open up the doors and ask him if he wants to go in. he was a little shy and probably star shocked at this time. So we watched them drive off and they turned the lights on just for us.

So, at this point in time I think Cole wants to be a fire fighter when he grows up!!

1. Dropped the boys off at my MIL’s to run some errands
2. went to a spin class at the gym
3. made brownies and frosted a cake (good thing I went to the spin class!)

In 5 years
1.Cole will be in 1st grade and Carson will be in Kindergarten and I will probably be an active member of the PTA!!
2. I hopefully will have had one more baby
3. my real estate and event planning businesses will take off!!

Go Devils!!

The Perham Gang has season tickets to Sun Devil Football. Last Saturday was the first game we attended even though it was the third home game. We tailgated with Uncle Gary's family, Uncle Ty's family and some other friends at the ASU Karsten Golf Course. The kids had a fun time playing around on the grass before the game started. Cole loves football and he had so much fun at the game. He would clap when everybody else clapped and would roar when the players got tackled. It was the first time he has seen fireworks and after they were done he would say 'more'. I told him that they needed to score another touchdown to see more fireworks. He was the cutest sun devil fan ever. Boo wildcats!!

Carson - 4 months!

This morning we had Carsons four month doctor's appoitment. He weighed in at 16lbs 10 ounces and is 27 inches long. He is still staying strong in the length department at 97%. The poor thing got four shots and one oral vaccinne.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for watching me on Saturday, I sure had fun!! The boys would also like to thank Grammy Kay for watching them on Sunday! We sure are lucky:)

Sexy in the Suburbs Bunco

It's that time of the month again...Bunco!!! Tonight Chad was left with the kiddos while I headed to Bunco. The theme this month was Sexy in the Suburbs. Shannon was the host and she did a great job being the bartender for the night. She made pomegranate and lemon drop martinis for the group!! One martini was plenty for me. I had a blast hanging out with my friends and won $30!! Hooray!!! Laura we missed you (since i know you are reading this:))!!

Breakfast with the Turtles!

This morning Cole and I went to breakfast with the turtles at the Phoenix Zoo. It's a monthly program that they offer and the main attraction this month was turtles. We dropped off the little guy at grandma and grandpas and Cole and I headed off for our special date with the turtles. We started off by first feeding all the turtles at the entrance of the zoo. Did you know that they eat dog food and lettuce? They knew it was feeding time and headed over like krispy kreme just opened or something!


Next was breakfast along with some fun activites! Cole and his friend Gigi enjoyed the bagels and muffins.

We learned today that sea turtle eggs are actually the size of ping pong balls and their mama's bury them in the sand. When they hatch they dig themselves out of the sand and crawl out to sea.
Next we headed to the turtle exhibt. We each got a carrot to feed the tortoises. It was so cool!! Cole got a little scared at first but evenutally warmed up.

It was a fun day and we can't wait for November - Giraffes!!

Gigi's 2nd birthday party

The Perham gang went to Gigi's 2nd birthday party. Gigi is Colies friend from Tuesday playgroup. Cole had a fun time playing and swimming and Chad and I had a great time with our friends as well.

In the spirit of college football, the boys dressed and rooted for their mommies alma mater! Go devils!

I can Roll!!!

Big news in the Perham household...Carson rolled from his back to his tummy TWICE yesterday. I wasn't able to capture the whole roll, but did manage to catch it half way through. My little baby is getting big.

Colie don't share!

I just had to share this story with my loyal blog readers. For those of you who don't know this - Cole really likes (loves) snacks. I mean really likes snacks. I joined a MOPS group and today was our first meeting. This group is more about the Moms and less about the kids. So, i dropped Cole off with the choir of crying kids who are sad that their mommies have left them. I get to my table and tell the other moms there all they have to do is give my kid a snack and he will be fine.

Well, about 15 minutes into the program the gal on the mic says 'who is Cole Perham's mom' I start thinking do i really want to claim him, what did he do. I raise my hand and she says 'Cole is the cutest kid ever. He REALLY likes his snacks and doesn't like to share his crackers'. The room starts laughing and the gals at my table look at me and said you weren't kidding, he really does like his snacks.

So for all you loyal fans who used to watch Friends, Joey once said on a date "Joey don't share"...Well, Colie don't share!

On the Road to Mexico!!

The Perham Gang headed to Mexico (Rocky Pointe) for the holiday weekend along with Chad's brothers family. We stayed in one Condo and Uncle Gary and his family stayed in another unit. We had such a blast and Cole enjoyed playing with his cousins and playing in the sand. I have decided that Cole is going is going to be an adrenaline junkie. He loved playing in the ocean and jumping into the waves while being held. He wanted more and kept wanting to go further out. He did not mind the salt water at all. I realized after this weekend that my dislike of sand is out the window. When you have kiddos, you quickly become covered in it either by playing with them in the sand of having sand tossed on you by the flick of their shovel. Cole wasn't the only one who had fun. Carson had a blast hanging out in his baby swing on the beach under the umbrella. He got some quick dips in the ocean but not for too long as he is too young for sun screen.
