Bachelor Palooza

I am a reality junkie!! I love realty tv so I thought why not have some fun while watching one of my favorite tv shows. My husband plays fantasy football so I thought heck, let's do our own "pool" for the Bachelor. I had 21 girls sign up and we came up with the name Bachelor Palooza. We casted our weekly predictions and gained points each week. For the final rose ceremony we had a finale party and unveiled our winner.

I posted weekly posts on FB and a fb friend worked for a local news station. She happened to be talking about our palooza at work and the promotions director over heard her. Long story short, the news came out for our finale party. I was on the news, how funny is that!!

Looking forward to next seasons Bachelorette Palooza!!

The final rose - I know, i am totally cheesy:)

the final standings

Kyle made these adorable cake balls with the cutest toppers. Team emily or team chantel??

Susan and I had the best seats in the house. We had two tv's outback and it was like a huge chick flick / drive in in our backyard. I can not express how much fun I had this night. It was a huge gal party and we all watched the show and chit chatted during commercial breaks.

We had 15 girls from the palooza show up and the other gals just like watching the show.

Meet Carlos...the camera man

me cracking up that I am actually being interviewed for this. Japan is in a crisis people!!

8 months and 4 years

I had the kids pictures taken for Caylees 8 month pictures and Coles 4 year. I know, Cole turned 4 back in October so this is as good as it gets. I never did Caylee's 6 months so we did 8 months.

Cole is my little cutie pa tootie!!

I love this picture of all three of my kids. precious.

little miss caylee

Little Miss Caylee might be the luckiest little girl alive. her brothers LOVE her so much and she loves them just as much. They eat all her food, climb in her crib and wake her up from her naps and swing her all around. She is one lucky lady and one tough cookie.

weee.......

Cole, you are so much fun!!

Sometimes Caylee will be napping and I go in to find this...grrrr.. but only grrr when they wake her up. Other than that it can be cute at times.

So can you tell that I may be over the top on the girl thing - pink, pink and more pink!

get in shape girl!!

I'm gonna get you

Little miss caylee is getting her crawl on. She is a professional at the army crawl and can scoot her way around the house.

gaga for bunco

last month I hosted bunco and the theme was Gaga!! Fun, Fun and more fun...gaga theme!!! My mind started spinning and I couldn't wait for the night. I already knew what I wanted to do...put paint on my face!!!!

But who can stop there...why not add some bling!!! You may not notice but there are rhinestones on my face.

Pop rocks were totally in order for the night!

Everyone did such a great job dressing to the theme. I love my bunco gals!

back off bro

Caylee has now ventured into the world of food. We give her baby food and she has now started on finger foods. She is a great eater and loves everything and so does her brother. Carson loves, loves, loves her baby food. WHATT? He goes nuts for it. Im not really complaining as he is getting lots of fruits and veggies in this way, it's just comical. I've gotten smart and I give Carson a cup of apple sauce and mix in baby food with that. Other wise, it will all be gone and poor miss Caylee won't get a thing.

Caylee feeding herself some noodles

Mom, this shiz is the bomb!

Carson's favorite baby food is the organic kind from Target - Spinach, Peas and pear. If i do say so myself, it actually does taste pretty good.

8 months old

My Baby girl is 8 months old. Holy smokes...where does the time go. Isn't she getting so big? I took these pictures yesterday during her nap time. She looked so cute and snuggly.

She is just as amazing as the other two were and are. She is so happy and loves her brothers. She lights up when she sees me and gets super excited when someone gets her out of her crib. She is doing the army crawl and scooting around everywhere. Pretty soon she will be on the move. She loves food and is going to be a good eater. She loves all baby food and eats people food as well. She has had noodles, banannas, peas, green beans, mango, pieces of pizza and bread. She loves to feed herself and also drinks water from a sippy cup. I am so amazed at how happy she is all the time. She is a ray of sunshine.

here is her schedule:
starts her day around 7ish
naps at 9
nurse at 11
lunch with boys at noon
naps at 1
eats dinner w fam around 5:30
bedtime 6:30
wakes up around 3
repeat

Everyday I thank God for giving me such beautiful and healthy children. I feel so fortunate to have all three of my children and get sad at times knowing we are done. So I will enjoy and be grateful for what I do have.

8th Annual Superbowl Bash

For the 8th year we have hosted our annual Perham SuperBowl Bash. And let me tell you....every year it gets better and better. I love to have parties, kinda in my blood, but this one is my favorite. Why, because it's family orientated. We have 4 tv's for viewing. One inside, two outback and one in the garage for the more quite low key serioius football viewing. We get a bouncy for the kids and this year we rented a popcorn machine and a spin art machine. The kids had a blast and the moms and dads had a good time as well.

Disney on Ice

My MOPS group was selling discounted tickets to Disney on Ice so I decided to take the kids...all three. I asked my friend Cheryl who organizes the tickets if she could make sure I could sit by her. She sits on one end and I sit on the other. Cheryl is also my dear friend and her daughter Meggie goes to the same school as Cole. When I pulled in the parking lot she had just got there too so it couldn't of worked out any better. heres some cute pics of all of our kids admiring and gazing at all the cool stuff.

Monster Jam

A couple weeks ago we took the boys to monster jam. We have taken Cole before, but it was Carson's first time. They loved it and had a blast. We are very lucky that Caylee now takes a bottle and left her with Grandma and Grandpa Perham so we could take the boys. It's a rather loud event and knew it would be too much for her. Man, life was easy with two!!

We got there early for the pit party so we could check out all the cars up close. My camera battery died as soon as we got there. Good thing my friend Kyle and her family were going. I called Kyle and had her stop at my house to pick up the extra battery. Thanks kyle!! The kids had fun checking out the cars and playing in the monster mutt pitt bouncy. After the pitt party we all headed out to dinner and came back to enjoy monster jam!!! Carson finally got his first pair of monster muffs. We are looking forward to heading back next year.
