Caylees photo shoot

One of my girlfriends from MOPS does photography so I arranged for her to come and take pictures of Caylee. She came to the house the day after we got home from the hospital and took some amazing pictures. Now comes the tough task of deciding which ones to print.

Sea Life Aquarium

When we go out, we do it big! Our first outing as a family of 5 was to the new sea life aquarium. My moms club hook up the club with a great deal - 50% off admission and we got to go in a 1/2 before itopened to the public = score! The boys had a fun time and ran thru the museum in less than 30 minutes (thank you for the 1/2 price entrance fee) . They had fun looking at the fish and popping up in the bubble.

After the aquarium we went to Rain Forest Cafe for lunch. The boys were scared and Cole hid under the table and did not want to eat there anymore. Once we switched tables, all was good. Caylee on the other hand was an angel. She slept thru most everything!!!

It's too loud

If it's too loud, then do something about it. That's what Cole does.

Chad was mowing the lawn the other day and Cole said it was too loud. I just shrugged my shoulders meaning 'deal with it'. Well indeed he did. He marched inside and came back out with 2 pairs of ear muffs. Quite impressive I might say and...it's a good thing we have been to monster jam and race car events to own two pairs of kid ear muffs.

(please ignore the fact the my children do not wear shorts. Ever since Cole has been potty trained he feels no need to wear them. Once less thing he has to take off I suppose)

hide and seek

We have been playing a lot of hide and seek these days and the boys have finally come up with the best hiding spot. Typically the hiding spots are under the covers, giggling behind the door or just laying there pretending that they are invisible. But the other day when I found them I insisted they stay in their spot so I could run and find the camera. And here they are....

Did you laugh? I still crack up when I see this picture.

Pre School

Cole is starting preschool in roughly one week. Before baby I was sad thinking about Cole starting preschool...now, bring it on!! Cole is going to have so much fun, Carson will love his special time with Momma...and I lovethe fact that I will have 3 hours twice a week with just two kids to lug around in this heat!

Cole is so excited, that he insists on wearing his backpack.

4th of July

Chad and I were so thrilled to be able to come home on the 4th of July and spend it with the boys. The church right across the street from our house was doing a huge firework show this year so we were thrilled knowing we could watch it all from our backyard.

We had a fantastic 4th celebrating with not only our newest addition but also with some close friends. Tia, Matt and Ava came over and helped Chad out around the house and with dinner. They grilled ribs, corn on the cob and Tia took care of all the other fixins . The kids played in the play pool out back and fun anticipation the show that was about to begin. My good friend Laura and her son Andrew spent the evening with us as well. They were going to park in our neighborhood and watch from their car but we insisted that Laura and her family come over as well.

Looks like the Perham Gang will be hosting an annual 4th of July bash. The fireworks were literally right in our backyard and it was awesome!!! I will have to say, the best part about the night was having Carson sit on my lap and watch the fireworks. At that point, i knew my little baby boy could no longer be mad at his momma!

Caylee Ann

Little Miss Caylee Ann joined the Perham family July 1st, at 12:17pm weighing 8lbs 2 ounces. It was love and tears at first sight. The amount of joy and happiness that can consu
me you when you get to meet your little one for the first time is so overwhelming.

We were in the hospital for 4 days and the boys came to visit their baby sister a couple
times. For their first visit, they brought a birthday cake so we could all celebrate her arrival! Thanks
Grandma Linda for the clevor idea. The boys were so tickled to meet her an
d couldn't wait to have their turn holding her. Carson shocked me the most at how excited he was to meet her and kept giving her kisses.

The second visit the boys were just as excited to see her, but carson was not so excited to see his mommy. He was mad at me and wanted to nothing to do with me. That sent me to tears. I was so sad that my little Carse was upset with me. Who could blame him - i had been in the hospital for 4 days and spending time with his new baby sister.

Chad and I are so excited to be blessed with 3 healthy children and couldn't ask for anything more. Are family is complete and can't wait to share all the pictures with you guys
