My Carson is 3

Last week my baby boy turned 3!!

It's hard to believe that my little Carson is 3.  What does this mean???  He is finally old enough to play soccer and he is finally old enough to start preschool!!!  My little Carson wants to be big so bad and do all of the fun things his brother gets to do...and he finally can!!!

What is carson up to at 3?  Well, he is my little mischievous,  stubborn, Tasmanian devil.  You tell him not to do something and by god he will do it.  He will push his brothers buttons, he will wrestle with him and not give up, he will destroy anything in about 2 seconds flat, he must have a hearing problem cuz at times he doesn't listen, he is addicted and i mean addicted to milk and he is addicted to his blankie.

But, he is also that child that is so sweet and loving.  He is actually our quite kid who doesn't really like crowds and is scarred of people he doesn't know.  You would think he is this tough cookie, but really his is a mommas boy. We love him to the moon and back and can't wait to see how he grows this year.

Here are some pictures we had taken. He is one handsome little dude.

Our trip to California

A couple weeks ago the Perham Gang headed to California.  In the past we have stayed in Carlsbad but this year we rented a beach condo in Oceanside.  We loved our property, we loved that it was right on the beach, we loved that it was 2 bedrooms and we loved that we had a kitchen!!!  Travelling with 3 kids is hard but it's so much easier when you have space and a kitchen...and a mom that comes with us!

We arrived on a wednesday afternoon and headed to carlsbad for dinner at our favorite pizza joint.  It was just as good as we had remembered from last years visit.

Then on Thursday we hit Lego Land!!!  This is our third trip there and it gets better every time we go.  Why??  Because the boys get bigger and are able to do more things.

group pic with bob the builder made out of legos.

Cole was finally big enough to ride this roller coaster ride.  Let me tell you...I went on it first with Cole and I have not been on a roller coaster in a LONG TIME.  That drop was crazy.  how we convinced Cole to go on it a second time is beyond me.  We may of scarred him.

Carson loves airplanes so he was in heaven when he got to ride this.

But then he found out he wasn't old enough to drive the cars.  That broke our hearts.

Miss Caylee girl was finally let out of the stroller and had a great time playing around.  She really is a trooper.

Friday morning we headed to the san diego out of africa zoo.  the zoo was amazing and we had such a great time.  We scored some awesome weather during our trip.

Later that night we headed to the San Diego Padres game who just so happened to be playing the AZ Diamondbacks.  My mom stayed back with Caylers and we headed to the game with just the boys.  The boys had a lot of fun.  they ate cracker jacks, cotton candy, hot dogs and lord knows what else.  needless to say they had a great time and the stadium there is amazing.

the bridge outside of the stadium.  the kids got a kick out of this as we were over all the choo choo train tracks.  Heaven to my little carsie

Saturday was our last day.  My brother and his family drove down to spend the day with us.  We had such a fun time playing at the beach.  Caylee loved the sand and of course wanted to eat it.  So...i let her and eventually she got over and stopped eating it.....phew.  The boys loved playing in the ocean with their cousins.

 My nieces Ashlynn and Cami

We ended the day by walking down to the pier and having dinner at Ruby's diner.

My mom with all her grandkids!!

We had a great time and are looking forward to next years trip!!

Easter

The boys had a great time celebrating Easter this year.  On friday we went with Aunt Leesha and Addison to an easter egg hunt/pizza party at Pump it up.  The boys had a blast bouncing and hitting the floating baseball.

Then on Saturday we had our annual neighborhood easter egg hunt.  The boys had so much fun collecting eggs and playing with our neighbor friends Noah and Isaac.

Then we finished off the weekend at the in laws.  But not only was it easter...it was my birthday as well!!!

I am so happy with all of the amazing pictures we got this weekend.  usually it's like pulling teeth to get any pictures with the boys.  So, i was pleasantly surprised when I uploaded the pics and saw so many good ones!!!

Caylee and swimming lessons

Little Miss Caylee Bear started swimming lessons a couple weeks ago. Both the boys did ISR (infant swim resource) so we signed Caylee up for the same program. This year she will just be learning the float and next year she will learn the swim float swim sequence. The boys will start next week with their refresher classes. The swimming lessons are a bit of a commitment ( 6 weeks for 10 minutes a day) but the results are amazing. Looking forward to seeing where the boys are at this year with their lessons.

But first, check out her adorable swim suit!!

let's go fly a kite

Let's go fly a kite...or at least try.

It's been windy lately so we have busted out the kites.

Alls well until this happens

And of course it had to of been Carson's. Not Cole's where everything is perfect in his life, but Carson's. The poor little kid who is too young for school, tags along to his big brothers soccer practices, plays with all of his friends, gets invited to their birthday parties out of default, buy two of the same thing and somehow Carson's breaks and not coles. Yes, not Cole's but Carsons kite got stuck up in the tree. BROKE MY HEART!!!

Good news is Carson gets to start preschool in the fall and is FINALLY old enough to start soccer in the fall too!! Yay Carson!!!
